About Us

Imago Church is a family of believers seeking to grow more and more into the likeness of Jesus. We are a small and growing community committed to living faithfully, loving our neighbors, and learning what it means to follow Christ together in our everyday lives.

Why the name Imago

When God created humanity, He made us in His image and for a purpose—to live in relationship with Him and with one another, reflecting His nature and character in the world.

The name Imago means “image,” and it points to both our dignity and our calling. We believe every person is created in the image of God with worth, value, and purpose, and that following Jesus restores and reshapes that image in us over time.

How we understand Church

We understand the church not primarily as a building or a service, but as a people. Our desire is not to build an organization or a platform, but to cultivate a community marked by presence, patience, and faithfulness.

Church, for us, is about shared life—learning to love God and one another in honest, ordinary, and enduring ways.

Where we are Right Now

Imago is currently in a season of formation. Our Core Team gathers regularly for worship, prayer, and discernment as we prepare to begin public Services later this year. During this time, we are focusing on laying deep foundations—spiritually, relationally, and locally.

We look forward to beginning our ministry in Bethlehem, and as it stands, we plan to begin an organic Bible study in Summer 26, and hold our first public Worship Services Fall 26.

If you’re curious about Imago, have questions, or are interested in potentially being a part, we’d love to connect. You’re welcome to reach out anytime.
